FIX

A brand new ensemble show about the science behind addiction, Fix questions how new technologies support addictive behaviour and if we need to be more vigilant with our online lives.

Fix was developed with writers Joe Sellman-Leava and Michael Woodman, with direction and dramaturgy by Katharina Reinthaller. Created from months of research with neuroscientists from University of Adelaide and King's College London, as well as interviews with people in active addictions and those who love and work with them, the play follows three very different people battling three very different vices.

“This is a story from us to you. With lights and music. This is a story about love and connection. About the bonds within brains. And the bonds between brains. About stretching them to breaking point. About taking one day at a time. And living for tomorrow.”

An in-depth sensory experience... Stimulates the senses whilst you are watching... You find yourself lost in the storytelling technique. Fix is a very enjoyable piece of theatre.

A snappy and engaging piece of documentary theatre... Fix treats the material  with a lively blend of seriousness and theatricality, the cosiness of the cabaret format sits uneasily with the extremity of what’s being described
