Sarah Sigal’s play is a ‘comic tour de force’ (The Stage) set against the backdrop of a Britain simmering with pre-war tension, royal scandal and rising fascism.

1936. Lady Pamela, fashion columnist and socialite, is recruited by MI5 to keep notes on Wallis Simpson and Edward VIII, suspected to be colluding with the German Embassy. But Pamela realises that what began as an adventure has led to a deadly struggle for power in a world on the cusp of war.

My duties on this production included supporting the writer and director in pre-rehearsal planning and text work, leading rehearsals in the director’s absence and liaising with the design team. I was responsible for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe run, scheduling get-in and out, noting the show and guaranteeing a smooth run for the Festival.
